The Installation Process

The project started with an initial meeting with the homeowner and his family to discuss their needs and expectations. After determining these needs and expectations, we installed a top-of-the-line water heater that will meet the needs of this family for many years to come.

To begin, we turned off the water supply to the current water heater. We turned off its shutoff valve then we removed the old unit. We disconnected any connections between the pipes and the outside source of water as well. After we removed the old unit and cleaned up the area where it was located, We checked for leaks in various areas; under sinks or around faucets, on floors near drains, and anywhere that could potentially be susceptible to leakages due to its proximity to other elements within their home’s structure.

After that, we began installing the new water heater. The drain pipe should be long enough to reach the floor drain or sewer connection. If it's not, the next option is to add a drain extension. The extension should be at least 1.5 inches in diameter and at least as long as your original drain pipe. This will ensure that there is room for adequate drainage when water flows through the heater before it reaches your home's sanitary system.

Now that the installation process is complete, we turned the water back on. We made sure the temperature is set correctly and we checked for leaks. We also made sure there are no electrical connections made incorrectly or any loose wires in the area where we installed the water heater.

The installation process may seem daunting, but it’s quite straightforward. We always start by turning off the water supply, which will prevent any damage to your home during installation. After that, we need to prepare for the installation and then install a new water heater.
